Teens hurt in bus crash in Cascades | Washington Bus Accident Attorney

A small bus was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Blewett Pass in the Cascade Range on Highway 97 Sunday afternoon, The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports.  All 12 teenage passengers were taken to Kittitas Valley Community Hospital in Ellensburg but only five or six were treated for minor injuries.  The van was taking Northwest Youth Corps member from Eugene, Oregon to the Twisp area of north-central Washington to do trail maintenance.   According to Trooper Dave Phelps of The Washington State Patrol, the cause of the accident was under investigation.  The stretch of U.S. 97 between Interstate 90 and Highway 2 tends to be quite windy and often drivers take it too fast.

The Andrew Kim Law Firm represents injured passengers in bus accidents, and other motor vehicle crashes.  If you would like to speak with an injury attorney, call us now at 1-800-636-3676 for a free consultation.
