Bellevue police officer hit in car accident

BELLEVUE, Washington

A Bellevue police officer was hit by a car while directing traffic on February 8, 2008 at the scene of a car accident at 111th Avenue NE and NE 4th Street in downtown Bellevue.

A 75 year old man was driving a 2008 Audi TT, traveling east on NE 4th Street when he struck the officer who was taken to an area hospital with injuries which required surgery and hospitalization for several days.
