On Tuesday night in the Central District of Seattle, a firefighter was hit by a motor vehicle while he was directing a ambulance in reverse, the Seattle P.I.
At about 6:40 p.m., the firefighter was assisting the ambulance at the intersection of 28th Avenue and East Yesler Way when a woman driving a Toyota Camry hit him. The 49 year-old firefighter fell to the ground after his head hit the windshield of the Camry. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center
, where he was released and is expected to make a full recovery.
