Driver dies in highway shoulder accident in Auburn|Washington Car Accident Attorney
A driver was killed after hitting a park semi-truck on the shoulder of southbound Highway 167 in Auburn about 4:30 am Tuesday morning, The Seattle Times reports.Kin D. Beliakoff of Bremerton was identified as a driver who died at the scene. The truck driver was not injured.
According to the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, approximately 2,000 people die every year in highway shoulder accidents which are one of the worst crashes on our highways. When a moving car hits a parked vehicle on a highway it usually ends tragically.
