Kiro News reported that a man lost control of his truck and crashed into a Washington State Patrol trooper's vehicle in Des Moines, Washington during rush hour on Monday.

The driver of the truck was driving on Interstate 5 when he was reportedly cut off by another vehicle.  He swerved to avoid collision and ended up slamming into Trooper John Pierce's patrol car parked on the shoulder.  Pierce was out of his vehicle checking on another vehicle also parked on the shoulder.

No one was injured and the driver of the truck was not cited.
