Fatal Car Crash in Arlington Shuts Down Interstate 5 | Washington Car Accident Injury Attorney

Just after 3:30 a.m. this morning, a Honda Accord driven by an 87-year-old-man reportedly from Camano Island was rear-ended by a semi-truck. As reported by the Seattle Times, the Honda Accord was either stopped or driving extremely slow with a female passenger in her 70s in the right lane. The semi-truck was unable to brake in time to avoid the vehicle and pushed the vehicle in to the center median, causing extensive front and back end damage.

The female passenger was killed in the crash. The 87-year-old-driver was last reported in critical condition after being airlifted to Harborview Medical Center. The semi-truck driver was unharmed.
