42-year-old Christine Duffy from Seattle was critically injured in a head-on car collision on the Fremont Bridge on February 18, 2009 but later died from her injuries.  The exact cause of her death is unknown and according to one of her friends, Duffy may have suffered a seizure or some other medical emergency that may have caused her to lose control of her vehicle.

According to Seattle Police, Duffy was driving northbound over the Fremont Bridge when she crossed the double yellow line, clipped a mini van and then crashed head-on into a cargo van. The other drivers, a 49-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, suffered injuries and were treated at local hospitals.

If you've been injured in a car crash and the other insurance company is denying your claim because they are saying that their insured driver lost control of the car, truck or van due to a sudden and unexpected medical emergency such as a heart attack, then you need to contact us right away.

These types of defenses can be defeated with the proper investigation and argument by an experienced personal injury attorney.  You may can call the Andrew Kim Law Firm, PLLC at (425) 289-1990 or toll free at 1-800-636-3676.
