Lake Tahoe bus crash on I-80 | Bellevue, Washington bus crash attorney

A shuttle bus operated by the Resort at Squaw Creek crashed on April 4, 2009 on Interstate 80 which is the main highway through California's Sierra Nevada killing one passenger and injuring 27 others.  The bus went off the road, hit a guardrail and rolled several times before coming to rest in a ditch.

Some of the 30 or so people aboard were thrown from the bus and one was pronounced dead at the scene according to California Highway Patrol.  The injured passengers were taken to hospitals in Reno and Truckee, California including Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno.  Injuries ranged from serious and critical head injuries, broken bones and bruises.

The bus was transporting employees from Reno to the upscale resort north of Lake Tahoe when the accident occurred.
