Local Teacher Dies in Car Accident | Everett Wrongful Death Attorney

The Everett Harold reported that local teacher Suzy Armstrong died Sunday evening after being involved in a head on collision last Thursday.

Armstrong was a teacher with the Granite Falls School District.  She helped with students with learning disabilities who needed individual attention and extra help in the classroom.  Known for her enthusiasm, Armstrong was popular among her students and co-workers.

"She just had such a big heart..She wanted them all to be successful," Carol Panagos, Granite Falls School District special services director remarked of Armstrong. 

Armstrong left Monte Cristo Elementary School in her Subaru on Thursday.  Approximately 15 minutes later at the 14300 block of Jordan Road, she was involved in a head-on collision with a 21 year old driver of a 1991 green Ford Explorer.  The man was not seriously injured.  Armstrong was transported to Haborview Medical Center, where she passed away on Sunday evening.

The events of the crash are still being investigated.  The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office are asking for any information or witnesses to the accident to be directed to their tip line at (425) 388-3845.
