Motorcycle crash kills Maryland state delegate's son | Washington motorcycle accident attorney

23-year-old Ryan Andrew Myers was killed in a motorcycle crash on April 9, 2009 when a tractor trailer truck pulled out of a truck stop into his path. The accident happened on State Route 63 near French Lane near Hagerstown, Maryland.

According to Maryland State Police, Ryan was riding his motorcycle northbound at a high rate of speed before braking and skidding 300 feet to avoid colliding with the semi-truck. He was run over by the left rear tires of the tractor-trailer operated by Larry Garrett, 62, Edmond, Oklahoma.

No charges have been filed and is under investigation. Myers was the son of Maryland Delegate LeRoy Myers Jr., a Republican from Clear Spring in Washington County.
