reported that a pedestrian
was hit by a car and injured on Highway 7

According to the Washington State Patrol
, the 27-year-old man from Graham
was walking in north in the southbound lanes of Highway 7 near 240th Street East. Police suspect drugs or alcohol were involved.
He was hit by a 64-year-old Spanaway, WA
, woman. She was not injured, although her car was damaged, the state troopers reported.
Emergency response officials took the injured man to St. Joseph Medical Center
