Seattle Woman Attacked By Pit Bull In Beacon Hill Apartment Building

A 65-year-old Seattle woman was attacked by a pit bull in a Beacon Hill apartment building this week, with the woman suffering several serious dog bite wounds.

According to the Seattle Police department, the woman and her sister went to her daughter’s Beacon Hill apartment to check on the girl when a pit bull inside the residence lunged at the woman, biting her several times. The woman’s sister hit the dog with her purse, but the dog followed the two women as they ran out of the apartment, biting the first woman multiple times. After the attack, the dog went back into the apartment.

The woman was treated for dog bite wounds at Harborview Medical Center, who 911 respondents to the dog attack brought the aggressive pit bull to animal control. The woman said that the dog was never provoked and attacked immediately. The woman’s sister was not injured by the dog.
