Semi-Truck Crash in Bothell| Bothell Accident Lawyer

King 5 News reports that just past midnight on Tuesday, a semi-truck driver hit light poles and the guard rail in Bothell, causing three additional accidents.

The truck driver, a 30 year-old man from Idaho, was westbound on SR 522 and entering the southbound Interstate 405 on-ramp. After colliding with the light poles and guard rail, debris spilled down to traffic below the on-ramp, causing the subsequent accidents.  Washington State Patrol troopers say 6 other vehicles were involved with only minor injuries reported.

The accident caused blocked lanes at the Interstate 405/SR 522 with backups lasting until 6:00 a.m. this morning.  Stuck in the backup was a woman going into labor.  Assistance was sent, but her condition is unknown.

The driver of the semi-truck is currently in King County Jail, as he was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
