Tacoma Police Search For Reckless Driver Who Injured WA Woman

A Tacoma woman was seriously injured in a rollover accident on Highway 512 when a reckless driver cut her off on Wednesday afternoon, April 7. Witnesses say that a red Ford Taurus cut in front of the woman and crossed several lanes of traffic before merging onto the ramp leading to Interstate 5 North near Steele St. The 23-year-old Tacoma woman lost control of her car and rolled her vehicle onto the left lane of traffic, closing three lanes of traffic for a number of hours.

The woman is being treated for serious car accident injuries at Tacoma General Hospital. The car that caused the traffic crash was not damaged in the accident and the driver was not hurt.

The Washington State Patrol is asking the public for any information they may have regarding the reckless driver that caused the WA car accident. Those with tips are encouraged to call 253-538-3240.
