Two Washington Men Die In I-5 Car Accident In Downtown Seattle

Washington Police believe that alcohol was a factor in a deadly late night car crash in downtown Seattle last weekend.

According to authorities, the accident took place just before 3 AM on Saturday night on Interstate 5 near Lakeview Boulevard. A car driving north on I-5 struck another car before spinning and hitting a medic unit behind them. Two people, both men, in the first car were pronounced dead at the scene of the Seattle car accident while two people, a man and a woman, in the medic unit were rushed to Harborview Medical Center with injuries. No one in the third vehicle was injured in the crash.

The WA car accident is still under investigation, though police believe that the driver of the first car was drinking and driving. The fatal traffic accident shut down northbound I-5 for several hours. No charges have been filed.
