Washington Woman Killed By Kitsap Transit Bus
An unidentified woman was struck and killed by a Kitsap transit bus in Poulsbo, Washington on December 2 – Washington State Patrol officers investigating the case are still unsure of what caused the deadly bus accident.According to witnesses, a woman was crossing Highway 305 at Johnson Way on Wednesday evening when she was struck by a northbound bus. The Kitsap County coroner pronounced her dead at the scene of the pedestrian accident and is now working to identify the woman and notify her family.
The bus driver as well as the nine bus passengers, who were traveling from Bainbridge Island to Hostmark, were not injured in the accident. The name of the bus driver has also not been released at this time. The left northbound lane of Highway 305 was closed as police investigated the bus accident scene.
