I have been injured in a city bus accident on the highway involving another vehicle. How do I get my medical bills paid?

A: Your medical bills will no be paid by either the bus or other car's insurance up front or as it's incurred. However, they will be part of your overall bodily injury claim when you are ready to settle your claim.

If the other car was at fault, then you have 3 years from the date of accident to settle your claim or file a lawsuit to preserve your claim. If the bus was also partially at fault, then you will need to file an administrative claim against the city and follow the procedures.
