Car Accident Report: Injuries to Passenger in Tacoma Collision
The following is a description of the accident and injuries of a former Andrew Kim Law Firm client. *Initials are used to protect the identities of the parties involved.On February 22, 2010 CW was a passenger in a vehicle that was traveling eastbound on S. 56th Street in Tacoma.
SJ was pulling out of a gas station and across 4 lanes of traffic to attempt to turn left out of the gas station onto eastbound S. 56th Street. SJ did not see the vehicle CW was in and collided with them. CW's head hit the side window and the driver's side window shattered. SJ was ticketed for failure to yield the right of way and CW suffered injruries to her head, neck shoulders and back.
CW was treated at a local emergency room a few days later to address her pain. She was diagnosed with neck strain and muscle spasm with upper back strain and muscle spasm. CW then began a treatment program at a local chiropractic office where she received regular adjustments for a few weeks.
