What to do if n earthquake strikes and you're on the road.

Earthquakes are known to occur in the Pacific Northwest.  As a resident, you should know what to do if one hits while you are driving.  The Weather Channel posted this Driving Safety Preparedness Checklist with tips on what to do if you are driving during extreme weather conditions, including earthquakes:

-Do not stop on a bridge or under an overpass.
-Stay in your car until the shaking has stopped, remembering that after-shocks come after the earthquake.
-If you are driving on the freeway, take the next exit as long as it is safe to do so.
