The interior of a car's temperature can rise rapidly. -If your car has been parked in the heat for a long period of time, check all child seating surfaces and belt buckles to avoiding burns while securing your child in their seat. -When parking your car in the heat for long periods of time, use car shades, seat shades and cover your steering wheel to avoid extremely hot surfaces. -To prevent overheating, flush and refill your colling system. Refer to your car's manual for recommendations. -Check your coolant regularly, looking for its level, condition and concentration. -Make sure your drive belts, clamps and hoses are tight and in good condition.
