My friend has insurance but he has insurance thru his wife and i was the only person injuried. I have 19 stitches in my face and mouth what do i need to do?

Andrew's answer:

If you were injured in an insured vehicle, then you should be covered under the policy. The question is whether there is personal injury protection (PIP) or medical payments (MP) which would pay for your medical bills.

If you were a passenger and your friend was the driver and at fault for the accident, then you would file a separate bodily injury claim under the liability portion of the policy. If there was another vehicle involved that was at fault, then you would need to file the bodily injury claim against them.
