The Tacoma News Tribune reported that an 11-month-old boy was critically injured on November 21, 2008 when he was ejected from a car driven by a 30 year old man that crashed in Federal Way.  The driver was also injured and had to be extricated from the car according to the Federal Way Police Department.

The boy and man were taken separately to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of their injuries. The boy suffered head injuries.  The car crash occurred just before 12:20 a.m. in the 800 block of Southwest 356th Street in Federal Way, Washington.  The police suspect the car was going east on Southwest 356th Street when it lost control, rolled several times and came to rest upside down on an embankment.  The relationship between the boy and man was not immediately known.
