Kitsap head-on car accident kills both drivers

The Seattle Times reported on December 30, 2008, two Kitsap County men were killed in an early morning head-on car crash on Brownsville Highway NE between Bremerton and Poulsbo. The driver of a 2002 Volvo, Troy Mark Thoman of Silverdale, crossed the center line around a curve in the road and collided with a 1972 Chevy pickup truck driven by Charles Steve Cockerham of Poulsbo. Both men were dead at the scene according to Kitsap County Sheriff's Office.
