Lynnwood Woman Killed in Wreck in Eastern Oregon

In the early morning of October 19, 2008 shortly after midnight, a Chevrolet Beretta driven by 29 year old Jessie Klien of Hermiston, Oregon was rear-ended by a Dodge Dakota pickup truck driven by 46 year old John Carlgren of Carlton, Oregon.  There were three passengers in Klien's car including 29 year old Michelle Sawyer from Lynnwood, Washington.  Klien and all three of his passengers died at the scene.  Carlgren was taken to St. Anthony Hospital in Pendleton, Oregon where he was treated for minor injuries.  He was arrested and charged with four counts of second degree manslaughter and DUI.
